5. Types of cookies we use

We group cookies into the following categories.

5.1 Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the website or platform to work properly. They may be used for security, authentication, session management, load balancing, fraud prevention, account access and other essential functions.

You cannot usually disable strictly necessary cookies through our cookie preference tool because the website or platform may not work correctly without them.

5.2 Analytics and performance cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors and users interact with Evie. They may collect information such as pages visited, features used, approximate location, device type, browser type, session activity and interaction events.

We use this information to improve Evie, monitor performance, identify errors and understand which parts of the website or platform are useful.

Analytics and performance cookies are not essential. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before using them.

5.3 Functional cookies

These cookies help remember choices you make and improve your experience. For example, they may remember interface preferences, workspace selections or other settings.

Functional cookies may be essential in some cases where they are needed to provide a service you have requested. In other cases, they may be optional.

5.4 Marketing cookies

Evie does not currently use marketing pixels or advertising cookies as part of its standard setup.

If we introduce marketing cookies in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy and request consent where required.

8. Current cookie implementation status

Evie does not currently operate a full cookie banner.

Before non-essential analytics or performance cookies are used in production, Evie should implement a cookie consent mechanism that allows users to accept, reject or manage optional cookies.

Until that mechanism is implemented, Evie should avoid setting non-essential analytics, marketing or tracking cookies unless legally permitted.

9. Managing cookie preferences

When Evie’s cookie preference tool is available, you will be able to manage your optional cookie settings through the cookie banner or cookie settings link on the website.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • view cookies stored on your device;

  • delete cookies;

  • block cookies for specific websites;

  • block third-party cookies; and

  • block all cookies.

If you block or delete cookies, some parts of Evie may not work correctly. In particular, blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or using the platform.

10. Analytics tools

Evie may use analytics tools including Google Analytics, PostHog and Vercel Analytics.

These tools help us understand how the website and platform are used, identify issues, measure performance and improve Evie.

Analytics tools may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies. Where required, we will ask for consent before these tools are activated.

11. Marketing cookies

Evie does not currently use marketing pixels or advertising cookies as part of its standard setup.

If this changes, we will update this Cookie Policy to explain:

  • which marketing cookies are used;

  • who provides them;

  • what they are used for;

  • how long they last; and

  • how users can control them.

12. Third-party cookies
